BUSHEY MAN SENTENCED FOR BENEFIT FRAUD |

A man from Hertsmere has been sent to prison for eight months after he claimed nearly £17,000 from Hertsmere Borough Council he wasn't entitled to.
Ola Fagbenle, 36, of Melbourne Avenue in Bushey, was sentenced at St Albans Crown Court on Wednesday 16 June after being found guilty of benefit fraud at an earlier hearing.
Councillor John Graham, Finance Portfolio Holder at Hertsmere Borough Council, said: "We take fraud very seriously and people should be warned that we will not tolerate fraudulent benefit claims." Read the July issue of My Bushey News for the full story.
