SUSPECTED MURDER IN ABBOTS LANGLEY

Police are appealing for information and witnesses to a suspected murder in Abbots Langley.

A 43-year-old man from North London was reported missing to the Met Police on Thursday, July 15. He hasn’t been seen since Saturday, July 10.

DCI Mark Ross from Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit said: “We are currently making enquiries around an address at Bagenal House, Shirley Road in Abbots Langley and we are urging anyone who was in that area and saw any suspicious behaviour over the last two weeks, specifically on Saturday, July 10, to call us urgently. This was the day before the World Cup Final.”

A 25-year-old woman from Borehamwood has been arrested on suspicion of murder and police bailed for a week pending further enquiries.

A 36-year-old man from Abbots Langley has also been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody at this time.

Anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour in the area around Bagenal House over the last two weeks, specifically the weekend of July 10, is asked to call 01707 35 5959 or 0845 33 00 222.
